The best ruck I'd humped

Bought the Rhino Ruck about two years ago, heard about the ruck from a forum. Anyway I was looking for a external framed ruck like an ALICE or Tatonka Lastenkraxe, but I got stuck with the ALICE system since the frame allowed for my back to cool down. I used various rucks like the London Bridge Trading’s 2657 and 1749 Kit, loved the London Bridge Trading ruck since the top lid of the pack could be removed to be used as a scouting pack. Also they have shoulder straps that has a rubber shooting point pads on both left and right straps for left and right handed shooters, but the London Bridge Trading’s shoulder straps turns into a flimsy- thin Wonder Bread and it feels like having an anvil on your shoulders humping 90lbs of crap for 18+ miles. I do recommend getting a CSM Gear’s Shoulder Straps for additional comfort, but I use Tactical Tailor’s Super Straps with a towel around my neck and shoulder for additional comfort and to wick my sweat. Anyhow after two years of R&D with the Rhino Ruck I added a London Bridge Trading’s Sleep System pouch on the bottom of the pack using MALICE clips and MOLLE II Lashing Straps so it gave me a total of 6688 cubic inches of space (5050 cubic inches of Rhino Ruck and 1638 cubic inches of space in the sleep pouch). You’ll never find a 6000 cubic inches of external frame ruck on commercial markets, and you’ll never find a ruck made out of tough material that the Rhino Ruck provides. I used this pack for multi-day hiking around the Northeast CONUS, and done a GORUCK event with this pack.
Overall I am impressed with this pack, the MALICE frame is a real plus since it got rid of the rivets, and that I could use the frame itself to carry bulky items. Also that this pack expands outwards instead of upwards is advantageous when rucking through dense vegetation where tree branches can snag on tall Osprey packs.
I will be taking this ruck for mountaineering and backpacking in Japan.
Thanks Tactical Tailor for your excellent products!
