Tactical Tailor is proud to introduce the Tactical Tailor Releasable Armor Carrier (TTRAC). Manufactured from 1000 denier Cordura Nylon, the TTRAC will accommodate SAPI plates up to size XL (11"x14") as well as spall armor. The adjustable cummerbund has separate integrated pockets designed for military issue side SAPI plates (6"x7"). A center pull release system allows the wearer to easily release the vest using either hand and we have engineered it to be almost as easy to reassemble as it is to release.

PLEASE NOTE: The TTRAC is designed to carry hard plates. It is not designed to hold BALCS style soft armor.

The TTRAC features modular webbing on most of its surface which provides the user with nearly unlimited options for placement of MOLLE/PALS style equipment to meet almost any mission requirement and is fully adjustable to fit most wearers. Also features a reinforced drag handle. Available in Coyote Brown, ACU, Ranger Green, Black and Multicam.

This is far and away an outstanding plate carrier. Been wearing it for about a month and a half now in Iraq, and it's awesome. Plenty of MOLLE space for my equipment, easily adjustable, the pads on the shoulder straps really cut down on the fatigue too. I only have a few recommendations/critiques. The side pockets aren't quite big enough to fit both an E-SAPI side plate and a soft armor plate backer. The velcro on mine is almost always open on mine. Also, the vest itself seems to be built for larger/more muscular guys. I'm about average sized around my torso, and it fits just a little loosely on me even though I've tightened it as far as it will go. If the side pockets were about half an inch taller, that would let them close with both a hard and soft plate in it. Also, an adjustable/removable cummerbund like in the IOTV would help keep it secured to smaller/average sized people. Absolutely love the vest though and everything else TT makes. Keep the great products coming!

Good Plate Carrier

Have had this carrier for a year and it's been to YTC as well as Lewis' "back 40" with a lot of range time, on & off post. I'm 68" in height, 46" Chest w/ a 32" waist and this carrier fits great! Well built, easy to adjust to my frame. I've got a soft armour carrier under the plate carrier which helps keep chaffing down. Easy to move in: run, jump, rolling and awkward shooting positions are no problem and the carrier is pretty low-profile to boot. Only major complaint I have is the side-plate pockets are not adjustable for different placement of the side ESAPI's. All in all, a great rig for the $$$$!!!
