I picked this pouch up when I upgraded my radio from a standard handheld HAM radio, that fit into the TT small radio pouch to a PRC-148. This pouch while designated as a PRC-152, will work perfectly on the PRC-148. The pouch has velcro on the sides, so you can adjust how secure you want the pouch to fit around your radio. The radio sits in the pouch with the display facing toward your body on your chest rig, as opposed to most other pouches where the radio faces outward, which can be problematic, if you have to assume a prone position in rock or urban terrain MOSTEK, and potentially damage the radio. Not with the TT. Like their other radio pouches, it has shock cord that secures to what I think is an ITW Nexus buckle, you stretch it over the top of the radio, and snap it in. When you need to interface with the radio (check signal strength, batter power, change freq) you release the ITW buckle, and the radio tilts outward. Very similar to how some admin pouches tilt outward with 2 straps on the side to secure it. From here, the radio is protected by clear vinyl, but you can see the LCD display just fine, make your freq adjustments, tilt the radio back up, snap, and you're back on the move. Shoot, move, and communicate.
As with ALL Tactical Tailor gear, this is made very durable, excellent stitching, quality ITW buckle, even the velcro is top notch. It takes up 2 PALS slots, and comes with 2 MALICE clips. If you haven't tried their MALICE clips you need to. I bought extra just to use in place of standard stiff molle straps on older pouches.
Well that's about it. Too bad Tactical Tailor doesn't let you post photo's of your kit or usage of their gear. It really is an outstanding radio pouch.
