Modular Holster

Manufacturer: Tactical Tailor

Our Modular Holster is the only holster you will need. It can function as a belt holster, it can be attached to our modular leg rig as a drop down holster, or it can attach to any MOLLE/PALS style webbing for attachment to vests or other gear. The Modular Holster features webbing on the front and sides for attachment of extra magazine or utility pouches and the 2 included long MALICE CLIPS® can be switched to either side for right or left handed shooters. The holster is constructed of a composite laminate of Cordura nylon and a high density polymer, which prevents the holster from collapsing when the weapon is removed. Also features an injection molded thumb break. Available for most popular small and large frame auto pistols in OD, Black, ACU, Multicam and Coyote Brown.

*Please note that Desert Eagle and HK Mk23 holsters are not regularly stocked items and may require approximately 4 to 8 weeks to be manufactured.

Holsters can be made for some pistols not listed above as custom items. Additional charges may apply for custom holsters. Please contact us by phone before ordering a holster that is not listed or you may receive the wrong holster.

7 years strong

I have had one of these since TT first started selling them, believe about 7 years ago. I still use it on a daily basis. Have had to scrub it with a nylon brush a few times and the velcro on the holster had to be replaced once do to user error(long story involving a bic and a bet) but it has held up better than any other piece of gear i've had. Only suggestion, add a webbing pull tab for extra retention, haven't needed it but piece of mind is priceless.

I have the model in ACU for an M9/ Beretta 92. The weapon fits snug without being difficult to draw or holster. The velcro for the adjustable snap is a slight concern, but I haven't had any problems with it yet, and I foresee none. Overall, I'm very impressed and very pleased, and have recommended this to the other pistol holders in my unit.

http://tinypic.com/m/95pm6a/4 I got the model fitted for a Glock 21. It works great for a fullsize M&P 45 as well.

Good backup holster
Chris (WI) 12/23/2009 7:24 PM
I used this as a backup holster mounted on my MAV for when I didn't want to use a leg rig. The thumb break mounts to the holster body via velcro, so there is a little play and wiggle even when it's snapped down. When I draw my pistol, the top part of the velcro tends to separate a bit due to the stiffness of the thumb break, so I make it a habit to press down the velcro after holstering just to make sure it stays put. Personally, I have trust issues with snap thumb breaks, so I made a secondary retention strap out of shock cord, a cord lock, and a webbing pull tab (similar to what TT uses on their single mag pouch) that can be unhooked when going outside the wire. If you plan on using this with a personally owned weapon, keep in mind that back of the snap on the thumb break might rub on your finish. I glued some webbing over mine with some barge cement to prevent this.
