Government issue ammo cans have a thousand and one uses, besides storing ammo, inside and outside the military, but carrying them around by the metal handle can be a pain. Our Ammo Can Sling Cover (patent pending) will hold one standard issue 7.62 ammo can and free up your hands by giving you the ability to sling the can over your shoulder. The cover is designed to allow the can to be opened while installed and features hook and loop flap access to the handle and a heavy duty shoulder strap. Constructed of mil-spec 1000 denier Cordura Nylon. Available in Black, Coyote Brown, Foliage Green (ACU), OD and Red.

Great for the range or quick access to ammo in a hurry!

If you have ever had to hump the small ammo cans on the range you know how uncomfortable it is when those metal handles dig into your hands! This is a great tool to make carrying ammo cans a more comfortable endeavor and it frees your hands up to carry targets, weapons,etc. I also have a can of emergency ready ammunition stored in one of these carriers that I can grab it in a hurry. I use a red one on the range and OD green for the other. I would recommend this item to officers/watch commanders that are responsible for carrying spare ammo in their patrol cars as well.
